Description
You can download a draft for a Mosaic shawl here. The file is in WIF format which is a text file that has all the information for the draft and all weaving computer programs can read it and translate it into the form they use. In my design, the sett is 28 ends per inch and 28 picks per inch. Warp is 20/2 silk, black noil (4/block) and white spun (2/block) white noil (4/block). Black weft is 20/2 silk noil. White weft is 20/2 spun silk. These yarns are widely available. They are measured out for you in the kit at Treenway Silks. The kit has full instructions. You are welcome to try other yarns and setts. Please do not offer your shawl for sale as your own work. Do not submit your shawl to shows as your own work.
The file is compressed in a zip file. Most systems will allow you to right click on the file to open it to a wif file. Email me through my contact page if you can’t open it. This is a single download. It does not expire.
